We have learned with deep sorrow that a fire that broke out at a university dormitory in the Soran district of Erbil, Iraq, claimed the lives of 14 persons and left several others injured according to initial reports.
We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives due to the fire and convey our condolences to the relatives of the deceased as well as to the people of Iraq, and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.
