We have learned with sadness that 10 people lost their lives and 16 went missing as a result of a sightseeing boat accident off the shores of the Hokkaido island of Japan.

We extend our condolences to the relatives of those who lost their lives as well as to the friendly people and Government of Japan and wish the missing people to be found as soon as possible.
