The Council elections of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a United Nations (UN) specialized agency which aims to coordinate the communication networks and services on a global scale was held in Dubai on 5 November 2018.

Turkey has received the support of 146 countries in the elections and become a Council member for the fifth time.
