Republic Of Türkiye Ministry Of Foreign Affairs 01.09.2018

We are concerned about the hostilities that started on August 27th and escalated to cause many civilian casualties and injuries in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.

We deem it important that all sides refrain from actions that would target civilians and jeopardize the UN-led political process.

Turkey fully supports ongoing efforts to end the fighting in Tripoli and restore calm and security.
