We learned with sorrow that, amid the deteriorated security situation in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan since last weekend, a terrorist attack targeting the Directorate of Migrants and Refugees’ Affairs, in Jalalabad today resulted in many loss of lives and injuries.

We condemn this heinous terrorist attack and wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the brotherly Government and people of Afghanistan.
