No: 102, 9 April 2018, Press Release Regarding the Continued Use of Force by Israel during Peaceful Protests in Palestine
We strongly condemn the Israeli attacks which caused the death of 29 innocent people, including journalist Yaser Murtaja, and injury of thousands during the peaceful protests that have been held since 30 March 2018. We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and speedy recovery to the wounded in the attacks.
We expect that international community to take a joint stance against Israel which, despite repeated warnings, tramples international law in an aggressive manner and does not even hesitate to target journalists in the line of duty.
