No: 334, 28 October 2017, Press Release Regarding Terrorist Attack in Somalia
We have learned with great sorrow that this evening (28 October) a terrorist attack perpetrated against a hotel in Hamarweyne district of Somalia's capital Mogadishu has claimed many lives.
We strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack.
We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack, convey our condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and wish speedy recovery to the wounded.
Turkey will continue to stand by the Somali people and its Government in the fight against terrorism.
