The Fifth United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) National Evaluation Capacities (NEC) Conference will be hosted by Turkey with the theme of “People, Planet and Progress in the SDG Era” between 16 and 20 October 2017 in Istanbul.

During the UNDP’s 5th NEC Conference, participants will discuss a variety of issues within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, share ideas and experiences.

The main aim of the Conference is assisting in attaining the Sustainable Development Goals by supporting improvement of national evaluation capacities particularly in UNDP partner countries.

Approximately 500 delegates from 133 countries including representatives of the UN Agencies, experts of Economy and Development Ministries and academics will be attending the Conference.
