We strongly condemn the atrocious terrorist attack targeting innocent people in a church in Cairo today (11 December) and resulted in death of at least twenty-five people and injury of many peopleaccording to initial reports.

We convey our condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in this heinous attack and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.

We would like to emphasize that Turkey, which was targeted by a similar heinous attack last night, shares the grief of the Egyptian people and is in solidarity with them.

On this occasion, we reiterate once again that international cooperation and fightagainst the terrorism threat targetingallthe innocent people regardless of religion, race and sectarianshould be consolidated with sincere efforts.
