We have learnt that according to initial reports, our 30 Iraqi brothers lost their lives in the bomb attacktargeting the Shiite pilgrims perpetrated today (15 October) in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.

We condemn this heinous terrorist act, wish God’s mercy upon the innocent Iraqi citizens who lost their lives in the attack, wish for a speedy recovery to the wounded.

This heinous attack, reported to be perpetrated by our common enemy DAESH, indicates the importance of the rightful fight of Iraq against the aforementioned terrorist organization with the support of the international community. Turkey will continue to stand by the friendly and brotherly people of Iraq in its fight against the terrorist organization DAESH by every means.
