Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attacks Perpetrated in Nigeria

We have learned with deep sorrow that more than one hundred people lost their lives and many people were wounded as a result of the terrorist attacks perpetrated at the various regions of the Borno state in the north-east of Nigeria. We strongly condemn these attacks targeting the friendly people of Nigeria, convey our condolences to the State of Nigeria, Nigerian people and the families of those who lost their lives, and wish a speedy recovery to those wounded.

Turkey will continue to support the efforts conducted to ensure the environment of security, tranquility and stability which have been desired for a long time in Nigeria.
